There are 30,000 youth in South LA...
With 800,000 total youth in the city, the 30,000 South LA youth, like thousands of Angelino adolescents are full of diverse culture, ethnicity, and high aspirations. Unfortunately, with the high rates of poverty, crime, abuse, gentrification, and a broken education system, many young people are experiencing the weight of injustice and hopelessness thus limiting the options of a thriving environment for many young people in South LA. Many programs and social services exist in LA to provide interventions for youth dealing with such issues, however, one thing that makes us distinct is the fulfillment of creating a healthy community. Studies have shown that the most effective form of intervention is social connection, and Passion LA Southside is determined to create a space for that.
Who We Are
AN URBAN OUTREACH MINISTRY DEDICATED TO TRANSFORMING THE LIVES OF AT-RISK YOUTH IN SOUTH LA
We exist to help develop at risk urban young people into socially mature, emotionally healthy, Christ led, indigenous leaders in order to change the trajectory of their lives & community.
OUR PROGRAMS
Passion LA Southside will thrive by creating weekly spaces for young people to gather throughout the week to experience God, to create community, to equip and to empower them as urban indigenous leaders.
PASSION LA NIGHTS
To create community and experience God.
A Faith-Based weekly gathering where At Risk Young People are introduced to Christ by loving Christian adult leaders who will help them grow in their spiritual health. Our program will create a safe space for young people to hangout, worship, hear the Word and to receive resources such as tutoring and mentorship.

Passion LA Network
Passion LA Southside is a portion of the larger Passion LA Network. Our network has a total of two campuses in East and South LA, both running weekly youth programming, discipling young urban indigenous leaders and connecting with different non-profits, schools, and organizations. Both campuses fall under the greater Passion LA umbrella, same mission - different campuses.
